I just traded in my 2002 gt for a 2003 cobra. first off let me tell you how much i love it! anyway, i'm new to this type of car (DOHC, Super charger, ect.) here are my ?s:

*any special maintance?
*any thing i should look out for?
*best mods?

SilverGT2002, Welcome to the Terminator Ranks.

First, read the Terminator FAQ Uncle meat pointed out. Then find your build # from SVT. Then make a plan because you can spend more than your fair share on your new car.

Look out for's...the '03s are a little finicky about a few things. The IRS bushings, rear shocks, fuel type's, the stock Shifter...etc.

Best mods, 03Yellowvenom hit the nail, but if you want to leave the car as is it is still one heck of an automobile.
There always seems to be that next great mod, but with the S/C sitting on top of that Hand built Forged internal's mod motor you will get more enjoyment drivin' than wrenchin'.

First mod is to get rid of the worthless POS shifter that Ford puts in. I can't believe that in a car like th ecobra they still use this crap.
Get a Tri-ax, and add a gasket to cut down on the noise coming into the cabin.
