Just Bought A Procharger D1 Help Please

Lots of calculators online that will tell you. You need to have a fwhp goal as that will tell you how much injector you will need. From there convert lb/hr into lph (remember you have 8 injectors) and that will tell you how much pump you will need. From there you can noodle around and figure out what line sizes you will need.

I will say that you should look into what the stock fuel rails can handle. The typical problem is they start running out of fuel (not enough volume) at higher rpm's. Do some research and you will see what I am talking about.

good information in this thread-

but I've concluded that with the stock block and even with a V3, the 255 and 60's will be fine.....

I like hearing it straight from the horses mouth so to speak and the last question I asked here and I forgot his UN but he seemed to have first hand knowledge as well with his blower setup....

just seeing your reply and gotcha.

But it seems the 42's will work even boosted on stock block at around 5-550 whp? And maybe even the 255 will suffice?
No .

The 42s are big maybe but I wouldn’t. 255 isn’t cutting it at 5-550 at the tire boosted either

A guy 3 posts into your linked thread did it and said

“ at 5500 the fuel pressure leveled off and he was tapped out. “

You do not want that. Regardless of if he made over 500 already. One bad day - the pumps hotter then normal or something happens and you’re toast.

5500 in a blower car comes on decently fast at 500rwhp.

We just got off the dyno - 80lb injectors , systemax , TFS 1 cam , Edelbrock performers, si trim Vortech , Freddy brown aod , snow meth kit stock bottom end . Made 506 to the tire /448. We turned it to 6500.

That’s with a 340 in tank and inline pump because his intank can’t keep up on the wiring he used needs and upgrade I believe

The work it would take to add in line pump id just put a bigger pump in the tank and use a relay with bigger wiring

After the dyno we backed the limiter to 6200.
