well its nice candy apple red, 5spd, ahh nice. well i went to start the car and the car goes click. well first thing that popped in my mind was like oh no the battery. so i turned on some accessories and no that didnt work. so my friends dad got the voltmeter and the battery said nearly 13 volts. well he told me to try and start it and i did and the battery went straight to zero. so the battery completely shot? well we started it with the jumper and sometimes the gauges would flicker and the battery light and abs light will flicker on and off. so is that contributed to the bad battery? i gotta ask these questions cause i just spent $11000 on it.

battery is dead, of course it will go to zero under load. Bad batteries will still register a voltage, even 13, it just can't hold it. it could also be the alternator not charging it. jump start the car and once it runs, disconnect the neg batt cable, if the car still runs, it's the battery's fault. If it shuts off you need a new alternator.

haha at 1:18 am i tried what you said and well the car still ran. its the battery. damn ford dealership. they said they did a 115 point inspection before they gave me the car. so i can be a qualified used car.
