I bought a set of gt-40p heads. I was wondering if any of you guys had any thoughts as what i should do to them. I know ford did i good job on making them flow alot of air. They are completly stock, valves springs, valves and so on. Thanks, i am just getting into working on heads so any help is helpfull.

Is it also a good idea to swap cams at this time for best power results?

It would be a good time to swap cams. You already have the engine tore apart. You should notice a good gain in power with cam & heads.

just bolt them on. They are not worth the time to do any extra machine work on

Be careful with your cam selection, the stock springs wont handle much.

I, personally, would go with a TFS stage 1.

I just picked up a set og p heads that look brand new. I also have a stage 1 cam that will be going with it. I'm not doing anything to the heads except new comp cam springs and roller rockers.
