Hi everyone I read about this and some saying a panhard bar was not needed and some saying that it was I would like to know with just the rear springs being install keeping my stock rims even when I put on the 255's in the future will I have a problem with the rear end shifting to much to notice that much of a difference and if there is a slight movement will it be a big problem please let me know thank you.

It seems to me that it kinda depends on the car. Just have to install the springs and see if you need an adjustable panhard bar.

+1!
You shouldn't need one due to the relatively short drop, but every car IS different and some are even misaligned from the factory. I look at it this way...you can get a quality adjustable bar brand new for around $125 which is better than the OEM bar and allows for adjustments later if needed

I say try it first. The Roush springs are a very mild drop so the axle might not shift that much if any at all. If it does and it bugs you that much then buy an adjustable panhard bar.

thank you everyone I agree with a mild drop like that for daily driving and more of the wheel gap difference for why I 'm really doing it for I should not have a problem but that you for your advice I appreciate it.

I installed Steeda Ultra lite springs on my GT and after measuring it, found no panhard bar was needed.

Did you have any after measurement? .. was the measurement taken on jack stands or on the ground?

The roush rear springs are a rather basic hand tool driveway install aren't they? I am considering them since I'm 6ft 4 it's already a pain to get in and out of the car but the rear sits too high for me.

Pretty much.

Jack up the car and put it on jack stands. Put a jack underneath the differential and unbolt the bottom bolts of the shocks and lower the axle. Grab the old springs out and put the new springs in, make sure they are seated correctly, and than bolt the shocks back in. Done !!

WIth just the rear Roush springs, you might not notice the drop while getting in and out of the car until you drop both front and rear an inch or more. I know I noticed it big time on mine with 1.75" front/1.5" rear and a buddy's 1.6" front/1.9" rear!!!!!

To properly measure whether the axle is centered or not is with all four tires (proper psi of course) on level ground.

I put the Steeda's on mine and it needed an adjustable pan hard but I think it was out of line from the factory as far as I was concerned. I have since adjusted it to where I think it should be

I went for the adjustable from the beginning because it is stronger and has less give than the factory stuff but if you don't want to drop the money, you can put the springs in first like stated above

The Roush should level off the car perfectly. I did mine w/o an adjustable panhard bar, and everything seems to be centered perfectly. The rear springs are super easy to do as well and take minimal time to install.
