Are you on the 93 cobra FB group? Someone just had a low mileage 93 cobra cat back and was looking to sell it.

Edit: actually looks like the pass side muffler is damaged

Anyone have any tips on removing what I suspect is old brake dust staining on OEM Ford wheels?

I used a combo of this stuff, and IronX to clean all the brake dust off my 98 cobra wheels. It did an incredible job getting the caked on stuff off the insides

I am, but I hadn't seen that post. I'll reach out to the guy.

This is the one I saw for mufflers and tailpipes only for $1,000. Yikes!

Thanks for the cleaner tips. I've considered Purple Power, but I know it leaves spots on paint and I wasn't sure if it would be safe for these wheels.

That plus the Iron X and some elbow grease really does a fantastic job

Can you enlighten me on the Iron X @Mustang5L5? Did you mix the two together? Maybe I missed it.

Nope. 2 separate products. No real rhyme or reason I just use one product to clean, and then use the other. They both have different strengths in terms of cleaning, but i was able to get the backside of these rims spotless. Very impressed with how well they work.

The backsides of those rims were very dirty. Almost brown. Cleaned them right up

In SoCal Dunkin' is few and far between, so you have to take advantage of the opportunity when you see one. Any excuse to get out of the house is a valid one.

You should be able to get the totally awesome stuff at Dollar General or even Walmart. At least it can get it here at those places. I've even seen it at Lowes. Nice car!

My last business trip to Cali, I drove 45 min out of the way to get some dunks. Didn't even taste the same.

Here in the northeast, they put them across the street from each other so you don't need to turn around to go to one.

Starbucks are pervasive in SoCal. Maybe even more so than Dunkin' in the New England region. I've also grown tired of Starbucks and their politics. I'm a simple man and like my coffee free of virtue signaling.

Decided to save myself a lot of money and angst and just patch the hole in my existing muffler. It's not pretty, but it saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of work in removing the original exhaust for another one anyway. Six of one, half dozen the other I suppose.
