Just Dyno'd my GT...

Those dyno numbers aren't too far off. Remember it was on a DynoJet. They're notorious for being about 20rwhp high. They don't load properly as a Mustang Dyno does. If dyno'd on a Mustang dyno it would probably be close to 240-245. That sounds about right for his mods.

those power numbers seem way too high for just having a x pipe and a chip. i only mention the two, cause the flows and the cai together prolly only gained 4 hp if that. that leves the chip and x pipe. stock gt usually only dyno at 225-230 rwhp. that means you got 30-35rwhp from a chip and x pipe. :lol:

I was thiknnng of samething. Is hand held tuner THAT good? i have to get one if thats the case...

It's not that it's Dyno'd wrong, just different. A Mustang Dyno just puts a more realistic load on the car that better matches actual road conditions. You still have good numbers :nice: .

the guy dyno is way off.


With those kind of numbers I would think maybe head work or someone punched it out and added 11:1 pistons before he bought it??
 
Well, here is my experiance...I had
P&Pd TF plenum
Dr Gas o/r X
Magnaflow CB
SCT-4 bank chip
Mazarre electric water pump
K&N filter

The car made 248/292 at a dodge dealer with the A/F going all over the place (14-15). Its timing however was really about all you could through, as when tim tuned it after the cams, he tried to add in 2*s, but it had some knock...soo.

I really dont think the car is ACTUALLY making 260, some dynos are off...heck, one guy I know has about all the boltons except LTs...and he has dynod 281RWHP. Some dynos just show HIGH.
I had all that + VT stg 1 cams, 75mm TB, and JLT RAI but - the electric WP and made 274RWHP after Tim tuned it. But Tim NEVER enflates #s at all...you get what you get with him.
