Just found out I qualify for the X-Plan. Question for those that have used it?

Ye'Haw.....No idea what I'll use it on yet but good to know.

Do X-plans vary based on the business partner? Looks like 4% below MSRP on my X-Plan so trying to get the full scoop on this so when I use it I know the deal.

When you walk in and talk to a salesman, tell him you're X Plan. He'll know the scoop. pick out what you want and when you get down to the money issue, they will tell you what the X Plan price is on that vehicle. X plan is a decent price, it just takes a lot of the negotiating out of the process. Be warned, they will not offer you as much for your trade because they have less profit to play with.

X-Plan has been offered on all previous SVT including Cobra's so we'll just have to wait and see about the new GT500.

Big-Al, thanks for the info. I have a salesman I deal with on all my purchases and have emailed him about this. Just wanted to make sure his story lined with others.

I bought my 99 on the x-plan. Dealership doesn't have to participate. There is a dealership in Indiana that is very aggressive about letting people x-plan SVT products. Varies from here to there.

Purchased my '01 via X-plan (thanks again Nick at Romeo Engine!).

It will be a "set" price like others have mentioned.

I work in the sales department here at the local Ford dealership. X-Plan is without a doubt one of the best deals that you can ever get. You should get your ride at basically invoice. I know from experience that the dealerships actually lose money on some X-Plan deals because of the discount. Rock on and get your new ride at a sweet price.
