ok just got back from the track here in maryland (capital raceway)

and finally hit the 12's i admit i need more seat time to get my crappy 60' ft down but i am happy still

60' 1.99

1/4 mile ---12.736@117 mph

sry for the missing 1/8 mile data i lost the dam slip :nonono:

i also need a shift light i am launchin the car around 5500rpms i think and that may be to high even for dr's

i got 5 runs in

14.1@107
13.4@111
13.3@116
12.7@117

and a 13.4@91 i missed 4th gear
my 60' a 2 or 2.1 only 1.99 on the 12.7 run

i will be back once i get the fmic and 3.12 pulley on:nice:

Frist off not to bad. Its def. a lot left in it at the 60' mark for sure. What drag radials are you running? Size? I am hoping to accomplish a feat as well....hoping to jump right from 13's to 11's......Im dreaming that my first pass out will be in the 11's.....but like I said...Im dreaming :rlaugh:

With more seat time at the track and some work on your launches, it should go 11's easy

where are you shifting the car? 6700-7000k? I wouldn't worry about a new pulley. Get your setup dialed in and then go with more power once you get the car going down the track. I might look into a set of real tires with the amount of power you are making.

"shocking" drag radials will usually result in worse sixty foot times. I would try slipping the clutch at a lower rpm. Even if you bog the first couple times, you can work your way up until the car doesn't bog.

thxs for the advice ......

i am using 315 17" drag radials nitto 555r
tires they are better then my old street tires

as for my shift i am shifting around 6000rpms speed shifting

but i am looking at getting a set of 15" welds and a 27-28" tire
i dont want slicks because the car is a daily driver ride

i also have a set of 31-spline and differencal setting in my basement just in case :nice:
