I dropped my car off Sat. for BBK Longtubes Dr. Gas and a dyno tune. I got there today and all was complete except the dyno tune. I had a bucking issue since the car was new and come to find out it was a coilpack that was not properly put on from the factory. My power curve was very choppy and thanks to Tim he tracked down what was going on fixed the coil packs and tuned the car. Before I had 242 rwhp and 281 rwtq with bolt ons and magnaflow x with cats. Now I am at 254 rwhp and 305 rwtq!!!! My air fuel is right around 13:1, Tim is amazing, but the kicker is my clutch is now slipping at the top of the rpm band 9,000 miles and clutch is shot. Tim said I might be giving up 5-6 hp with the slipping clutch. The car is awsome, Thanks Tim, if you could would you post my dyno graph?

Damn that makes me itch. I'm scheduled to go in for gears, LTs, and Dr. Gas on the 5th of June. I can't wait.

I assume you mean T & J right ?

My first stock clutch was perfect at 35 K miles till I missed 3rd, and blew it up. Got it warrantied amazingly enough. My current clucth is fine too, and I have 102K miles on my car. Holds up OK so far w/ the s/c on too. I don't know your driving habits but sure sounds all wrong -

My driving habbits are fine, I have almost had the car for a year and have 9,000 babied miles on it. It has NEVER seen a track, never been powershifted and only ran up to redline once or twice a week(I live 1.5 miles from work). I have owned 7 cars and 5 have been 5 speeds. One was a 99 mustang gt that I traded in in 2001 with 36,000 miles same stock clutch. This car has always acted a little funny with the clutch it has to be adjusted weekly and it screetches upon decel. I just got out of a lemon law about a year ago and was in no rush to run to ford with a noisy clutch. It never slipped until today when it was getting the sh&& ran out of it on the dyno!! Sorry if I sound pissed but 68 & 00 GT that was kind of a smart a!! thing to say without knowing the whole story.

Don't get mad at 68 & 00 GT, he's just a feeble old man . Seriously speaking, those are great numbers and don't forget that the clutch will start going pretty quick...trust me i know . Pick up a Centerforce or Spec clutch

Dark Knight GT

I can't get it up......ok that didn't sound right.

Congrats on the numbers. I think the slipping clutch is costing you some power too.

According to MapQuest:
Total Est. Time: 29 hours, 12 minutes Total Est. Distance: 1892.85 miles.

Sadly, I was in Alpharetta last year for training. (ADP... they do payroll/HR stuff). If I go back, maybe I can convince work to let me drive?

so you got 12hp and 24 tq by adding long tubes, x-pipe (or something like that) and a dyno tune? Isn't that a little low??

Anyone familiar with Strasburg racing? They're just down the road from me. Rebuilt my friend's 289 real nice. Don't know if they'd take on a 4.6 though....

seems somwhat low to me also cosidering all the cash it costs. i only say this cause i have a long tube setup on the way and was hopin for about 20 hp to the wheels, but congrats on the install anyway. the torque numbers seem pretty high though. also were these numbers after the tune or did he not do the tune yet?
