Just hit 100k

The day finaly came I got the car back in november 04 with 93k on it and today I hit the 100k mark dam it this suck's thougt I could hold out for year guess not. It's A strong car runs great hopefully I can get another 100k out of it will see what happen's.

These cars are just getting broke in at 100K. If you take car of it, 200K shouldn't be a problem.

Mine has a 104,000 and runs better now than when I got it with 19,000 7 years ago.Been using Castrol Syntech every 3000...No problems at all with the motor.Prolly just jinxed myself it will blowup today...LOL..Would be so bad though,i like when things break......gives me an excuse to buy parts

130K and i just rebuilt the top end

barely any carbon on the pistons, no sludge at all in the oil pan, could still see all the factory hone marks

i think the stock valve springs were shot tho

ran great before the tear down and should run even better after i drop the engine and new tranny back in

i hit 100k last week too.

i feel your pain.



BUT....when i overboost my motor and split my block in half.....time for a NEW engine

100k is nothing for the good ole 302. my vert had 155K on it before it ws totaled and it ran like a new car. it was totaled in the front end and i was able to fire up the motor in my driveway first try.

I knew I shouldnt have opened my mouth!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!I have motor problems!!I'ts drinking up oil like a thirsty camel in the desert.Like a quart every couple 100 miles.No sighns of external leaks anywhere or smoke out the tailpipes.I'll figure it out tomorrow.My poor poor visa

i have 160k with no problems at all, we just put h/c/i on my friends with 203k and there was still hone marks also, just take care of it and it will treat you good!!

i got 126,000 kilometers on mine and it had 116,000 when i got it last december

sooo for you yankees its got 74,000 miles right now and 71,000 when i bought it

Hitting 100K is no biggie. I thought mine was going to blow up to but the car still runs awesome at 132,000

hittin 170k soon here the transmissions has been hangin well since about 90k but the motor runs like a champ
