theoretically....if someone had reproduction fenders, would reproduction headlight buckets fit better than original ones? i know originals don't fit the best in repro fenders....does anyone know? have personal experience?

I doubt it. Although I honestly don't have any experience with repro Mustang fenders, I do know what you're talking about. I bought my Shelby hood and nose from the same place, hoping that maybe they'd hav etaken their molds from two parts of the same '67 Shelby and therefore they'd fit well together. No dice. The fit was so bad I have a hard time believing either part ever fit any car, let alone the same car.
