Just installed my O/R X-pipe

I just got my UPR O/R Xpipe on. ITS SO LOUD!! It sounds like a demon from hell driving down the street.

The question is has anyone gotten busted for sound?

Not me down here in Little Texas, but Cali is a whole lot worse about their noise regulations (and their smell regulations, too). Just let off the gas when you notice a Johnnie Law....

I don't think my setup is as loud as yours, but yeah if you want attention, you can easily get it.

I normally just keep the Rs below 1500 around the piggies.

I don't understand how some of you can think that one is louder than the other. They're all the same....Bassani, BBK, UPR, etc, etc.

The crossover's are all roughly in the same location, they're all 2 1/2 diameter. The only thing that's gonna make one louder or quieter than the other is going to be the type of muffler you run and the addition or deletion of cats.

….otherwise, stating that a "certain" X-pipe is louder than another is a moot point.

My drone isn't really there between 1800-2200, but at 2500 you can't hear a jet taking off next to you.

I have the Hooker Aero Chambers with my Mac O/R X and it is perfect. If I see a lawman, I just shift at about 700 rpm's and you would think it is stock. However, if I shift higher than 4,000, everyone looks at me!!!!! I love it.

when i am driving around three or higher i start hearing something ring alot. like a loose nit. is that just the 40's or is it some thats loose? cause its only when i am driving not when i rev it up.

UPR X offroad + Flows, might have to go that route. I didnt know UPR's were that good.

its hard here to find a decent place to get it installed if u dont do it urself usually cause i know a few people who have had engine lights come on after they installed it i had no problem but i know in houston they look out for stuff like that some cops have sniffers they use to see if ur violating emission laws..i knoe the fien also is kinda heafty but im not sure about other places..what are the fines in your areas?

I've got on it next to cops before. I'll Go thru the gears at 3k each time right next to cops. Never had any problems with them...
