all i can say is WOW :nice: ...i really like how the throttle feels and my exhaust is even deeper now. I couldnt be more satisfied. The only thing i didnt like is that it didnt come with any instructions. But, other than that I love it, especially the finish. Took me about 1 hour 15minutes.

TWO PROBLEMS:
1. TPS screw...i lucked out and applied alot of pressure and luckily it turned
2.Getting stock tubing on throttle body: took at least 10 minutes, i then decided to use vaseline which worked like a charm

TB/PLENUM = :nice:

For those who may need help, i decided to do a write up since there really wasnt any out there.

Put some 3.73's or 4.10's in that baby and you'll really feel the throttle response! Sounds like it is working awesome for you though. Hopefully i'll get the Accufab TB/plenum combo soon. I'll have to put it on my christmas list.

3.73's is on my "to-do next" list...i just gotta find a decent person to put them in, i am also waiting for my warranty to expire...i dont know why, but i am..ANYWAYS nice icon, PETER is the man

all i know is that i wouldnt get a 75MM tb unless heavily modded...as in like a supercharger or maybe even longtubes...but i feel like the 70MM was a good investment, b/c from what i hear, there really isnt much difference between the 70 and 75 that is used on an Accufab plenum

or if your later plans call for more air, then skip the 70 and go strait to the 75... that way you wont buy one and then upgrade to the other eventually anyways. :nice:

thanks for the write up, unfortunately my TPS screw is now stuck so I unbolted the accufab TB and put the stock one on the new plenum :p I'll have to do something to get it off later. It was cold outside and I dont have a garage :p

Its been quite some time since the mod bug has bitten - but its happening again. Seeing I have most other "bolt-on" mods, all I see that I have left to do is the tb/plenum setup.

Two questions:
1.) The install seems fairly easy, sans a few nasty bolts (though after installing the exhaust, I can't see how they can be that hard). How bad is it?
2.) Is this setup worth the cost?

This will probably be my last mods before, *gasp*, looking into an '06 ;) so I just need something to hold me over for the next year or so. Any input?

From what I'm reading, the install is a snap and it is worth it. Anyone else?

I have had my combo installed for about a year now...no, I think it was last March. Anyway, if you are quick, the swap takes about 30 minutes. For a first timer, give yourself 60 - 90 minutes in case of problems.

Don't forget to reset the computer.

And, if your time is worth more than $30 an hour, don't waste your time removing the old TPS. Just buy a new one and go from there.

i have a Trick Flow Upper plenum with a 75MM Throttle body. feels great! especially with the off road H, catback, and my 4.10s! :nice: its worth the time and money. id do it. but a quick question....will i feel a BETTER difference with my PI Heads/Cams and PI Intake swap????

Generally speaking, yes you will get a larger HP gain with the TB and plenum after the pi swap. If, for instance, your TB is good for a 2% gain, for a non pi that would be about 4rwhp. After the pi headswap, that same 2% would give you an added 1.2HP over the non pi. for a total of 5.2HP
Edit: you will likely see closer to a 2.5% gain with the TB after the headswap b/c of the freer breathing heads, but it was just easier to explain this way.

I'm looking to do this mod as well. Did you have any problems with the voltage setting for the tbs? From my research most people just bolt on the tbs and they are good to go. Others have a rough idle and need to adjust the tbs voltage.

ps: thanks for the write up, nice job :nice:
