I just installed a Triax shifter gasket from http://www.cobrabob.com.

It's great.
The kit included the gasket for the shifter, and the shift handle.
Replaced the silicon with the gasket and also used the handle gasket.

Really quieted down the Triax!

Thanks Cobra Bob!

Please keep us informed if the handle bolts loosen up. I tried to use a rubber spacer between the shifter base and handle, but the bolts came loose every 3 months.

I use thread-lock.
Works great!
As far as the handle-gasket, it is super thin anyway.
Not spongy at all.

Looks like exactly what I used for mine. I went to Home Depot though, bought some of the high temp plumbing rubber gasket material. It came with 2 pieces about 5x5 for less than 2 bucks. I just cut out 2 little squares that look really close to what he has lol. Made 2 holes in it for the bolts. I am worried about the bolts loosening, Ill be checking on them like once a month for a while. I didnt care about the noise, I was trying to get rid of the notchy feeling the shifter had. Stock shifter felt so smooth, but once I went to the Tri Ax I could feel every bump and movement inside the tranny. It helped some with the notchiness, it really helped cut down the heat that would build up after lots of driving.
