My buddy has them on a completely stock vert with cats and they are pretty dam loud at WOT. They also sound great at idle. I bet they sound insane with no cats. I bet you will like them!!!

It will not matter, they are freaking loud at WOT from outside the car.

I helped my friend install the kit. It is very high quality and fit perfectly. I did not think I would like the tips either, but they are fully adjustable and I actually think they look great. Nice thing about the exhaust is there is no drone and actually pretty quite inside the car, but insane outside the car. Very aggressive tone!!

slp's are tight but i don't like the way the tail pipes look. to each his own though. definitely get some sound clips up when you get it installed. is there anyway to run lx tails with the slp loudmouth?

You can run any tails, with any muffler you want. It might take some cutting and welding but you can. I will be running 3" Flowmaster tails with Spintechs which at first fitting and glance will not work. I will just modify the intermediate pipe to get it in there.

My friends LX has SLPs on it. Its a simple HCI fox, with BBK LTs, OR X, and dumped SLPs. It is extremely loud and through the RPMs gets real raspy and loud. I like the sound, but dont love it. It is one thing though...
LOUD.
