Just ordered some suspension parts... did I forget anything?

I have a 99 Mustang w/ 80K miles. I need to get 2 new tires and the stock shocks are pretty worn out so I figured I'd do those at the same time.

So I just placed an order for the MRT Street kit and Maximum Motorsports CC plates, MM poly spring isolators and MM swaybar end-links (stock end link bushings are all chewed up). I'd like to do it myself, but time doesn't allow. I keep kicking myself because usually I do all my own work/service. Anyway, I'm having a local repair shop (Big O) do the install becase I figured it shouldn't take a rocket scientist to install springs, shocks, cc plates and alignment.

Am I forgetting anything- other bushings? Should I go to a more Mustang/performance specialty shop or will the local BigO be able to install the springs/shocks/cc plates?

Nobody?

Any other bushings that would get changed while the springs/shocks are out?

Big O should be able to change everything out with no problem. Do you already have aftermarket control arms? If not, you may want to get a set. The only other thing I can think of would be the front lower control arms. You can get new ones through FRPP I think.

I see you're located in Seattle Washington, I'm located in Auburn WA. How much is the shop going to charge you for the install if you dont mind me asking. I could do the work for you for a little cheaper than the shop. You can ask a few guys from the NW (viperos, tarch, theredblur) they will vouch for my work. Its just a thought but it could save you a couple bucks. For the springs/isolator, and endlinks it would take me about 2.5-3 hours. With shocks/struts/caster-camber plates it would take another 1.5hrs. Lemme know I can probably save you some money and could use some extra myself! Later

well apart from the general relace any worn out parts advice, there's little to add unless you plan to upgrade the rear setup what you need is a Watts linkage or at the very least a panhard rod, either of these will help control lateral axel location which is the down fall of most live rear setups.

Try Evolution Motorsports, they do some good stuff - Tri link, LCA, braces, Watts linkage
