I just put my x-pipe on and I Dont really like the sound with the stock catback.. It might sound bad because there is an exhaust leak, im gonna fix that by the end of the week and see it the sound changes a bit.. Its also catless DAMMMM does it smell like **** lol... I went catless on my other car and it didnt smell as bad as the stang.. Will the strong smell always be there or does it fade(mostlikley not)??

I put my upr x-pipe on not long ago either. It smelled bad for a few days but it will go away. the only problem I had was the the 02 sensors on the driver side would not reach the pipe without removing them from there brackets. I used the predator to get rid of the light. Other than that, no problems.

go with the flows if you enjoy a headsplitting drone whenever you cruise at 2000rpms for extebded periods of time
i would say phagnaflows or mac cuz ive heard macs sound like flowmaster but dont drone.

the drone is one of the best things about owning a mustang. if my exhaust don't drone i will get rid of it.
so buy flows if you liek the drone.

if your looking for quiet, get a diferent car. its a mustang...it's supposed to be loud. each is own I guess. I love the drown and I have driven 8 hours plus with it...sounds great no matter how long the drive.

Like I said in another thread about drone, that's what the radio is for.
The only time I turn my radio on is when I'm cruising on the highway or interstate. Other than that, dam the radio. I like to hear my Stang rumble through the gears.
Put in a nice subwoofer with an amp, turn up the bass, whola- drone gone.
I just had a O/R UPR installed Saturday. I have Flos as well. OMG. When I get on it, it sounds awesome. I got some JBA shorties in the garage, but I'll probably have them installed in a couple of weeks. Didn't have the funds to get it all installed at once, so I went ahead with just putting in the X. I may put in the Mac Catback instead of the flows. The UPR sounds great with the MAC.
Yeah, after I had them installed it smelled pretty bad and was smoking when I went to the gas station and on the short commute home. After that it was fine.....Enjoy.
