Just put my upr x-pipe on.

I just put my x-pipe on and I Dont really like the sound with the stock catback.. It might sound bad because there is an exhaust leak, im gonna fix that by the end of the week and see it the sound changes a bit.. Its also catless DAMMMM does it smell like **** lol... I went catless on my other car and it didnt smell as bad as the stang.. Will the strong smell always be there or does it fade(mostlikley not)??

The smell goes away pretty quick...just burning off!

My UPR X-pipe is catted, and I just put mine it on last week. It sounds like it has damn exhaust leak too. Now I'll get to spend an hour or two tearing the damn thing back apart. I think mine is leaking up off the passenger side manifold where it meets the X-pipe....

So does the upr just not fit well? I was thinking about MAYBE getting one because of the price. I think it will sound good with my magnaflow CB once I get that installed. But I don't want it to end up being some huge PITA and then having a damn leak or something when I'm done. I'd rather not have to take it apart and put it back together a dozen times.

I just had my UPR installed about a couple of weeks ago. I have no problems with leaks. They have to be absolutely straight when you put them on yourself or you are going to have leaks. That's really with any Mid Pipe you install. I had a professional at a muffler shop install mine for about $100. If I have any leaks, then I'll simply take it back to him. But he did a nice job of installation.

Go with Mac, I have a upr x pipe with mac and its an awesome sound
