Just Replaced Headgasket. Burning Old Coolant In Exhaust ?

So I just replaced my head gaskets. Followed torque specs, torque sequence, and torque procedures.
Started and ran car for a minute and I start seeing white smoke from exhaust.

I do recall when I was dealing with the exhaust pipe it sounded like fluid sloshing in the CatVerter.( or is it the resonator?) Probably both. Probably some fluid in the muffler too. The whole exhaust system.

Only smokes white when warm/hot
leaks from the exhaust when warm/hot
spews when revved when warm/hot.

I'm just wondering what you guys think. I am really hoping the head gasket didn't blow again because I kinda ran it on low/no coolant during that minute. ( i forgot to add some)

and really hoping it isn't a cracked block.

Throttle response is excellent even while smoking white.

I'm also really hoping the oil has a creamy tint because i didnt completely drain the old oil. didnt flush it either.

Power is all there and so is the throttle response.

Hi,what caused you to blow a head gasket(s)?
Did you have the heads checked?

Rent/Buy one of these-

Change the oil and filter . Run it long enough to burp the cooling system and the thermostat to open . And test it. Residual antifreeze in the exhaust can take a while to burn off,that very well could be what you have going on

Thank you for replying, I believe that would be the best option and i believe you are right about residual coolant taking a while to burn off.

I topped off my radiator with water, let the car run for a little bit and the radiator is holding pressure and the water level stayed the same.
I know it is holding pressure because some water spewed out like a little fountain when i unscrewed the cap(while cold of course). Gave me a little jumpscare lol but at least i feel better knowing the pressurized radiator isnt bleeding into the cylinder head.

It also makes me more confident that the tainted oil is from leftover coolant that was not flushed from the oil pan.

If anything crazy comes up i will update this thread. Thanks.

A large quantity of coolant in the exhaust system can take a surprisingly long time to dissipate. Regarding running one minute without adequate coolant (was it REALLY only a minute, not 15 or 20?), don't worry about it. imp

I guess it is blowing the old water out of the exhaust system.

Washing out the exhaust system, should be nice and clean soon LOL.
