Corner of Lakewood Blvd and Gallatin in Downey, California. Around 4PM.
Car was silver with flat black wheels and some sort of black and white cheetah design from the front wheelwheels to the back wheelwells. Had to be some sort of attempted camouflage? The car was very dirty, and had a blonde girl driving it. Looked like it had some sort of doohickey above the driver's door, next to where a sunroof should be, to attach something that I'm not quite sure of. Of course, I was in traffic and the digital camera was in the back seat
Anyone else have an early sighting, or am I part of last week's news?

That's a test mule. The paint job is in case someone take a pic from the air it's harder to make out the shape.

I really liked it. It's been awhile since I've driven the car, but there was a notable difference in power. I used to have an Edelbrock Performer in there.

I saw the 2005 at the Knott's Berry Farm Ford show. Now that I've seen it in person, I really don't like it. I'm glad I have an original 67. IMHO, it looks like any other new type car with the plastic bumpers.

This one is from another forum. He spotted it in Beverly Hills. It's only the first year, so it should look better later.

OK, the one I saw looked like the one on page 12 in the June Mustang Monthly, except without the snow!
