Just saw a brand new 05 mustang in a parking lot today.

It was yellow, and a gt. i must say it is a very very nice car. If i had the money i would deffinately go and buy one. I even took my pic next to it . The back sits a little higher than i was expecting though.

you should try driving one around an autocross track like i did!

They need bigger sway bars and a better clutch.

I saw one at the Ford dealer in Orange this past week. It looks larger than the previous ones I saw at car shows. It does look nice, but having an original 67, I still like the looks of the previous years, just my opinion.

Yep, they are sweet. I don't think the makers intended them to be competitive off the showroom floor on an auto cross track.

Yeh, i've got a 68 GT fastback, but i want one of those. A true Mustang.

Give me 18 months and i'll have one of those sitting in my Driveway here in Ireland.

I also saw one for the first time yesterday at a local dealer, brough back memories of my old 67 Fastback, same color too---- Lime Gold. If I had the money,I'd go get it.

I got to check one out on Fri. at a local dealer. It's a GT with the 1000 watt system and the color changing dash lights. Very nice. Didn't get to drive one yet as they just came in like an hour before I got there and they were cleaning them up. Unfortunately they were both autos too. I can't wait to get one. I'll probably wait a couple years though so they can work out the bugs. Hopefully they'll have a special edition out by then like the Bullitt and Mach.

I'm with Brian - the exchange rate is so good at the moment, we should be able to pick these babies up real cheap - not seen any prices from our specialist importers yet, but I'm gonna have one. The most painful thing is that I just ordered my new company car a few days ago, and I even asked if I could have one (well in budget, and a Ford, so how can they refuse?). A big fat 'NO' was the reply. Nuts.

Can't wait for the first ones to be delivered to Hertz...
