just something I'm curious about

What sort of H/C/I setup would you need to do on a stock 5.0L in order to have the most power in the 1000-2000rpm range (where most daily driving is done). I love having all the high end power my car has, but I think it would also be cool to have a setup that keeps you glued to your seat all around town under 2000rpms.

Obviously you can throw some 4.56s and the problem is solved, but I wana know what heads/cam/intake would give you a down-low power band like that.
 
I believe you'd want to stay on a smaller sized head...basically you'd want to find a head that had the highest velocity...

Performer intake would work well

That said...cam choice will make or break the deal. You'll probably want a stockish (maybe a bit wider?) LSA...and lower duration numbers @ .050

not sure of specifics...if I gave you numbers I'd be talking out my ass
