Yup, with this issue happening so often, i think qa1 should put warning tags all over their k member because of this.

In the past that k-member only had one motor position and it was stock location, it shouldnt have moved the motor forward at all.

With my QA1 I had rubbing issues with my tires 275-45. I put rack stops in so I wouldn't rip the inner fender off. I also had lowering issues, the front nose was slammed. I put spring spacers in to raise it up a half inch. The QA1 K-member can be more trouble with it's moving stuff around than it's worth.

The issue is amplified if you install it on an older fox with the smaller wheel openings, i found that out on my 80 cobra. It moved the wheels forward almost against the front fender

On a good K-member? Personally I'd get the TeamZ. Go to their website and check it out. Great prices and great service. You can email Dave Z. with questions and he'll help.
