I've got an authentic DECH g-load brace, and i tried installing it a few weeks ago but the cats interfered with it, BIG time... not even close to enough space.

I have heard of people "massagin" the cats to make it fit, but i think that'd be a whole lot of hammering!

Can the brace just not work with cats or what?

Also, the brace does point forward, correct?

I did not have cats when I ran the G-load brace, but you could try moving the H-pipe by loosening all 8 bolts, jacking the H-pipe up as much as possible(keeping a good seal) and tighten them back up.

Do you have a 2, or 4 pt brace?

Sorry, it's a 2 point brace.

I posted out of curiousity.. i'm sure the cats are done anyways. When i remove the H pipe to weld in some new cats, ill massage them a little

I have an OR h pipe throw on there after emissions anyhow.

I just got a used G load brace from a guy, and it had some extensions on it and longer bolts so it would clear the exhaust. I'm not 100% sure of the brand, but I think it is a Steeda. The extensions give a good 3/4" more clearance. I haven't tried installing it yet, gotta get some instructions on exactly how to install it first.

My Kenny Brown's fit with quad cats and with my new dual cats Bassani X pipes although the bolts are a little too long!
