K member removal

We just removed mine and replaced it with a tubular one. I say it will take a good 4-5 hours to dop it out. Its not really hard, just sorta time consuming. And be sure to make a sturdy engine rest, as the K member is the only thing holding it up. So, what are you wanting to do?BBK LTs REQUIRE you to drop the K, I dont see ANY way around it lol, and we still had to jack the engine up and down to get to certain header bolts.

I do't know if I did that right but it is a link to a Kmember install that someone on here sent to me when I was asking questions about a K member. Look for the thread "Hey all K member questions" on this forum-4.6 tech-for other stuff about it...Hope this helps a little. I am fixing to do mine after I beef it up a little(weld on some more bracing for it). But I plan on putting it up on jacks for a month or so while I do some other stuff also. I'll have to drive the beater for a while but hopefully it will be worth it.
