K&N gained 1RWHP on an 01 bullitt GT.Heck I felt the power gain from my K&N, not huge but it was there and kinda changed the sound of the engine and exhaust.

Sometimes there is more difference to a mod than just horse power gains.

Try your local car parts store, they should have it in stock.

Yeah, I realize that. I was just tugging on his short and curlys. It just sounded funny that he stated that he felt the difference that it made. I mean if it makes 1hp on a Bullitt, what do you think it makes on a lesser GT?….you can make more power than that with just a few degree’s drop in air temperature. I think a lot of people mistake the sound of the extra rush of air it makes entering the intake track, with real world horsepower gains. Same goes for a muffler swap, CAI, spark plug changes, or even setting the TPS sensors on the old 5.0L’s and so forth. If the manufacture claims in makes horsepower on the box and your car sounds meaner, most are fooled into thinking it makes a difference. Hell, I’ve seen people convinced that a particular mod made piles of horsepower, just because they dropped a pile of money on it.

I almost forgot to come back to this post.

Considering the Densecharger?

Sorry so dirty, but its an '01' Notice the MAF which is calibrated for the system, anyways I like it.

OH wait I can hear the people coming to say "the MAF should never be changed on a NA car" OH well I like it, MY .02 enjoy the pic.

Yep im a ricer and just happen to have a built 331 stroker in my stang instead of a turbocharged VTEC 4 cylinder . Anyways I am pretty in tune with my car and know how it runs. That K&N also gave 3-4LB-FT, torque is what you feel, so I say that that is enough to be felt, and it was a combination of that and the much better throttle response that I felt.WOT was also slighly faster and seemed to run harder.

$35 is to hard to pass up

but the jlt actually works and has been dyno proven 5-8rwhp, the only cai that can say that, my car picked up .1 and 1mph, the part I really like is it picks up alot of power after 5500, it flatlines instead of falling off a cliff
