I just bought a K&N filter from DK and I have some oil and filter cleaner from last car I sold 4 years ago. I haven't used it since then would it be good to reuse it again or just get some fresh oil and cleaner???
I wouldn't hesitate to use it, but if in doubt, I'd throw it out. I'd clean and oil it with the old stuff, and if it still cleaned it OK and the oil is still pink, I think it would be OK.
Yeah the oil is still red...but I'm afraid the oil might have broken down from just sitting in the hot garage. And for it to be sucked into the Air Meter..etc..
