your running stock filter set up vs the K$N system..did you try the K$N element only vs the K$N system??. Smple volume of air will cause some cooling effect..give me a graph of the two K$N systems vs each other and then you get my attention..also I'm curious and not knowing...do the stock systems run a silencer style pc like the fox bodies did?, if so was it intact duing the stock run?..and if so was it intact during the K$N system run..though it likely was not in or unable to be used. You may be correct that the K$N system does indeed have SOME effect over the stock system..but I would like to see the above mentioned stest prior to making a decision. Also I would need to see a dyno graph to be convinced that the temp drop if does exist in above test..does affect HP numbers. I do know BBK style Mac style CAI systems are appearance only modifications..I would be very interested to see the K$N system work effectively..hell I'd likely be interested in the install myself.

Thanks for the replies and info. I have already done the mufflers and gears and I am planning on getting a FRPP aluminum drive shaft after my birthday in March. I usually get a few hundred dollars for my birthday. I have a CAI on my F150. I know it is not a huge power difference, but I like the sound they produce. The one on my truck kind of sounds like my old '77 Pontiac that had a 350 with a 4 barrell. You have got to love the sound of a 4 barrell. I kind of like the looks of the polished aluminum tube instead of the black plastic. Depending on the price I will probably go with the Typhoon.

WILLDUHHBEAST

I got my sequential turn signals from here "http://www.sequentialtaillights.com/".
I have had them since '03 when I bought the car (first mod). I haven't had any problems with them either, but if I had to do it over again and the price wasn't a issue I would probably go with the CDC kit. There kit does not require an wire splicing and I heard it is wired to keep the lights synced together. Mine are not wired together, but have always synced together when I brake or turn on my hazards to show them to people. Good luck.
