Our red gt which is a complete street car weighing 3525#'s went a best today of 9.99 @ 140mph. It has alot more in it,this was with the 18 psi pulley. Car still has 100rwhp on the table with the 24psi pulley. We also have a 250 shot we haven't used.

This car is a true street car with A/C,power steering,5 speed, stereo etc. Only thing deleted is the rear seat and a tubular K-member.
She''ll go 9.60's on blower,I'll prove it shortly!

We have a video I'll post over here once I recieve it.

KB 2.8 + 2valve = insane!

Car went 110 mph in the 1/8.

Best 1/4 mile MPH today was a 10.06 @ 142 mph.

Fitz's motor and this motor are the same exact setup. Difference in the two cars is a 5-speed and this car is not a race car. Pure street car that will be daily driven in a few months. A/C,power steering etc.

We plan to go mid 9's with it and I have no doubt it will do it in street trim with just slicks. I'm going to run it again in 2 weeks with the 21 psi pulley. Should go deeper 9's.
Fitz should go some 9.20's with a few small changes and hopefully 8's with the bottle.

My car is 300 pounds lighter and has a C4 automatic. It's no longer a daily driver, although it's technically still street legal (almost, no cats).

Car as it sits is making 742rwhp(18 psi). It has made 832rwhp(24psi) but we pullied up to dial the car in. I'm running it in 2 weeks with 21 psi to see if we can get a 9.60-9.70 out of it. We also have a 250 shot of nitrous we have not even turned on yet. My goal is a low/mid 9 second street car that is daily driven.

Meat, yes. I bought the rolling chassis 2 years ago. My son is just now turning 16 so we went ahead and got the car together for him. He'll be driving it everyday to school and we plan to get him into running NMRA with it.
I took the 2v motor out of my car and put it in his. KB built us a 1 off custom 2.8 for it. We begged them to build one last 2.8 for Jim Fitz.
These two cars have the only Kb 2.8's in existance for the 2 valves. KB won't be making any more per Jim Bell. The kit had to have alot of custom stuff done by both companies to make it work so it can't be produced as a resale option by KB.

So Tim, I guess that means that KB is now maxed in terms of how big of a blower they can make?

Good work!! I am glad your pros are pushing the envelope of performance out of the ol' 2 valve, so that in time, and more development technology, the wannabes like me can someday build a car based on your trials. You are truely pioneers...
