Anyone here using this setup? This looks to be the way I may be going. Minimum boost looks to be 8PSI. How will the stock bottom hold up to 8psi? How much timing retard am I looking at to run 91 octane(the highest I can get in SoCal)?

If you are running one or any Kenne Bell SC, please post you opinions on the SC. Thanks.

Try posting int he power adder forum and in corral. There are a bunch of corral guys with them. But for boost under 10psi I'd stick with the 1500. There are a couple guys running mid 11's with just the 1500 kit. I would spend the saved dough on a good tune and/or tuning device like the EEC Tuner or TwEECer.

As far as my opinion on KB's go, I have limited first hand experience, but after tons of reading, I know if I go supercharged it's going to be a KB with water/alchohol injection.

Well, I just happen to have a KB2200 with a turbonetics water/alcohol injection kit sitting in my shed right now!

BTW - I loved the KB unti, I just wanted to get the car to #'s that the KB was incapable of making (750-800) at the rear. Just gotta love all that low-end tourque with the KB. Just an awesome blower for street use!

Ok, thanks. The reason for going with the 2200 now is that eventually I will add a beefed up shortblock with lower CR, so it will go over 10psi someday.
