Ok, so I own a bone stock 94 GT (save for flowmaster 2 chamber exhaust,) and I'm thinking about putting a KB 2.2 Blowzilla/Flowzilla charger on the car. The car has 47,000 miles.
What exactly is needed for the installation, besides what already comes with the 2.2 KB kit? I've read about bigger fuel injectors, TB, etc, but from what I've read on the KB website I should be able to use a 8 psi 2.2 blow/flow kit and leave everything else stock, albeit without optimum performance at the lower boost level. Is the Kenne Bell website misleading me? If I was running 8 psi of boost on a stock fuel and air delivery system, would it hold out?
Also, what is the exact procedure for "tuning" this car after the sc installation? One of my biggest concerns is finding a shop around here that is capable of setting my car up properly.
New to the forums here, been lurking for years. Bought my car last April and have had fun with it, but I'm itching to get it up to speed.
Any help is appreciated.
