Someone actually stole the car, and crashed it. Apparently they didn't realize what they had, and couldn't handle it.

I'm getting the car back to part it out, and 500 dollars cash, that was the end result. So shortly.. pretty much everything is going to be going onto the corral forums.

Luckily the engine bay was PERFECT and not a drop of fluid leaked from anywhere.

One of the wheel's broke into about 5 pieces and the obvious body and interior damage.. but other than that.. I might be able to get some value back on all the parts I had on her. I still miss it

Why a vert? Other than that, good choice.

There were only 5 locally for sale. I looked for about 3 weeks.. pretty intensivly. I was against the idea of a vert until I drove it. I'm in love. Just cruising around in the Florida weather is so nice. I know that it has some downsides as far as overall racecar performance goes, but thats not why I bought the car.

I do plan to mod it, and I do plan on making it pretty quick.. but I do also plan to drive this car.

It only has 20k miles on it for an 03. That was also another factor in my decision, the others in town had 40k+ and werent black.

No, the ass that stole it was never found. I'm totally upset with our local police system after going through what I've been through this past month. Hopefully he got what he deserved from the crash. It really does look like it would have hurt.

Both cars well, one still is SWEET. What kind of gauge cluster was in your GT? I liked it. Cobra is nice, but there is something to be said for a 2v GT that can whip Cobra ass.

It is the *holy* autometer cluster, which appears to be in great shape. I still wish I could have my lowly 2v back.. but in the long run, I think I'll be happier. I put so much sweat and money into the GT, it's hard to look at thoe pictures even though I've got the Cobra now. I never ever thought I'd have a Cobra.. and well, now I do.

PM me if you wanna sell it. I know what you mean about wanting the old car back. I wish I didn't have attachments to my cars it would make selling them much easier. Atleast you have evolved into something that also has potential instead of a mini van or something.

Some pretty sick things went though my head when I thought about what I'd do if I found him or her. It being a 5 speed makes me think it was a guy.. haha.

Only kidding.

Anyway yeah.. i've been a stressed out mess the last 3 weeks or so. I lost a lot of money recently. Hopefully when I start the part out, everything will work out. I'll probably go to corral with most of the stuff once I get into it.

How did you manage to find a Cobra that still actually has a pony in the grill?

Sorry for your loss, but that termi in vert form is pretty darn sweet and in time, hopefully will secure another spot in your heart. I've seen 03/04 Cobras run at the track and they are sooo impressive performance wise and have a lot of goodies to boot for the long run i.e. seats, IRS, upgraded brakes, etc..... Good luck with the new ride.

I know right.. i saw it and I was like.. you've got to be kidding me.

They say an older lady traded it in on a 3 series BMW. I got it from the BMW delaership. The car was bought in michigan, and only has 20k on it. I'd imagine it wasnt driven a whole lot. It does have flowmaster catback on it though. Yuck. haha.
