104k miles
Engine overheats after it loses Oil pressure. Loud metallic pinging noise.

Engine basicly needs to be replaced..

That is about a $500 expense if I do it myself.

There is a 96 GT manual with 60k miles.
I can finance it for $190 a month for 36 months. With 2k Down

I have about 2,500 to spend.

Should I get my current car fixed and use the rest of the money to mod it?
It only has K&N air filter.

Or should I get the other car. Fix this one and then sell it.

I was planning on doing the V8 swap anyway since this current engine is coming out soon anyway.

id just buy a GT instead of doing a swap because theres a lot involved in a swap possible tranny. definitely suspsension, rear end, ecu, cluster, mounts you'd be better off just buying a GT it'd be cheaper in the long run
