Keep poppin turn signal fuses... what to check?

OK, my turn signal fuse keeps poppin. Now, i most likely have a short. what can i look for to shorten my search for the problem? also, the lever doesnt stay down (click into position), could that have something to do with the problem?

Does the lever click up? Check the ground, also make sure there isn't water in the light...

the fuse is poping because its shorting.......... you know that I hope... it is in the rear tail lights.. that all the ones I seen at work. Also the switch is a little plaste thing it breaks and you just have to buy a new one..
