I have a 1991 H.O 5.0l on the engine stand. Not sure what I am going to do with it. I know it will replace the power plant in my II. My II has a Mustang II C4 automatic transmission in it. For those of you that have put an H.O into a II, how did you sort out the flexplate balance issue??
I'm dropping an '86 H.O. into my '78 II this week and next. I'm calling machinists tomorrow on the flexplate issue. You'll have to have your II flexplate rebalanced to 50 oz. Or, if you've got a hundred and a quarter lying around, you can get one through artcarr.com . Me, I don't have that kinda coin.
