Kenne Bell Finally dynoed today........not too good..... :o(

hate to sound like a n00b but i kinda am .... ok im just about to turn 18 so im gettin in the game... i should be in a 2001 gt within the next week or two (i have a personal family friend who owns a huge dealership looking at the big auctions for me). anyways im curently in a 96 v6 but thats not the point ... i only run that up to 3500 when im messin with it and 4000 when im really getting on it... isnt anything more than that really bad for your car? i actualy thought 4000 wasnt that good for our stangs and wouldnt think of taking mine into the orange thinking that it was super bad for the car. thanks for the reply in advanced and please dont flame me cuz im in a 6cyl... thats all gonna change in a week or so

What kind of dyno was it? If its a mustang dyno they read about 20% less then a dyno jet would read. The mustang dyno is more accurate but i think most places use dyno jets. If in fact it was a mustang dyno then you would make over 400 at the wheels if u had it put on the dyno jet. Still those #'s are not bad at all; atleast your cars blown!
