I am getting ready to purchase the KB 9psi intercooled kit this month. Before I order though I am trying to buy everything else I need to go along with the install. I already ordered my Autometer guage pod to go with my KB guages. I know KB recommends Denso Iridium spark plugs but what part number are those? Where is the best place to order them online? Is there anything else I need that isn't included in the kit??

I bought my plugs from www.sparkplugs.com

Just search for the right plug and it will come up. I can't remember what the correct number is but its "it-something"

Awesome...thanks guys! I will see if I can't find the IT20's cheap somewhere. I think Autozone wanted like $12 each for them.

Okay...maybe you guys can answer this question too. I am upgrading to the 90mm mass air, big tube kit, cold air kit, 75mm throttle body...what does $100 refundable core charge mean on the mass air meter? Will I get that $100 back?

You'll get it back when you send them your old one.

I'm amazed on how many people these days are getting KB. I remember when only few were trying them on. I'm glad that you're getting it though, many people seem to have fun with them.

Topless...I think the popularity is with the 4.6 2v crowd mainly because of how well the 2v responds to it. Even Jim Bell said it was the best kit they have ever made.

Congrats on the fact that you are getting one man. Id love to be able to fork over the change for one. High school salary sucks dont it! LOL one day I guess. Make sure you let us know how the kit is and what numbers you put down.

One more thing that I remembered that I had to buy. If you are getting a fuel pressure gauge, then you will need a fuel rail adapter (if you connect to your fuel rail that is). I don't have KB gauges though, so it may come with their kit...you might want to ask about that. I couldn't find any at the stores in my area so I had to buy it online.

MT1083...I will be buying the KB fuel pressure and boost guages. I hope it comes with everything I need to install them. I will definately ask about that though. Thanks for the heads up.

What guages did you get? It sucks because I actually like the Autometer Phantom guages better than the KB's but I wanted everything KB. Plus the KB's are cheaper than the Autometers.

I have the Autometer Phantom Boost/Fuel gauges. I just liked the looks of the Phantom much better than KB's and Autometer is a respected name so I figured I couldn't go wrong with them.

KB recommands the DENSO U-Grooves T20-EPRU (#5032) but nobody sells them.
The only place to get them in CA for decent price is Monarch products (kennebell gave me that info as I couldn't find any other place to buy them).
Call 909-672-8501 or fax 909-672-0759.
I got them for $2.24/ea + 6.71 only for shipping.

What????? I just ordered the IT20's. Which is the correct plug that KB recommends? I like $2.24/each better than $10/each. So which is the correct plug??

In the manual they say Denso Iridium IT20's or T20EPR-U.

I was never told which one was better. I couldn't find the T20 EPR-U so I just went with the IT20's. They have worked fine on my car so I never even had second thoughts about it.
