Yeah, I just did a google search for the T20 EPR-U and nothing came up. Oh well, if KB recommends either one I am sure both are fine.

I had Autolite 103 for 6 month and changed to the Denso T20EPR-U. They both work the same...

Just KenneBell told me NEVER use Champion as alternate!

Ok guys...I just learned something very interesting. Before I posted this thread, I emailed KB with the same question. I just got a response today and it say's:

Q: Hi, I am ordering a KB 9psi intercooled kit for my 2000 Mustang GT this month. Before I purchase, I am buying everything else I need to go with the install. I already bought a autometer guage pod to go with my KB guages. Now I need to buy the spark plugs. I know you guys recommend Denso Iridium's...can you tell me exactly what part number those are so I can buy them? Is there anything else I need to buy for the install that isn't included in the kit? Thanks for your help!

A: there will be a page of required supplies to purchase for the kit in the instructions. the plugs we now use are ngk tr6 gap @ .025"
do not put the irridiums in there have been several problems lately

They are now recommending not to use the Denso Iridiums. That freakin sucks...I just ordered mine. They are arriving at my house today. What do you think has been going on with the Iridiums?

Dang...I have no idea whats going on. I would have thought Ken would have mentioned that on some of the other forums but he never has. I'll ask him today and see what he says. I've never had any problems out of mine.

narongc73...Have you already installed your KB? What color is your Mustang? I have probably seen you around. You ever go up to the car show at Virginia BBQ?

NGK TR6

advance auto parts can order them for around 1.69 each (called and checked). most places sells them for over 2 dollars online. the part number is 4177. they won't know what TR6 is... btw this is what Vortech recommends in their install guide along with autolites..

Sell them in groups of 4 to the billions of ricers that don't know what they're doing and will buy anything that someone tells them is the thing to have for more power.

Turn you Civic into a Mustang Crusher!!!bolt on 40rwhp for $40.00. Buy now and we'll throw in the Denso Iridium under hood sticker....good for another 5rwhp.

You'd make a killing!

I came up against the same problem. The shop that did my install had used iridiums in a couple of cobras. Nothing was wrong with the plug...they just don't last long at all. I went with copper plugs - one step colder than stock -with good results so far. The car idles a bit rough, but I suspect this is the result of colder plugs. Have fun with it!

Well guys...it is true. I just confirmed it with Ken at KB. They now recommend either the u grooves or the NGK's...just not the iridiums due to some customer problems. Oh well, I will see if I can sell these jokers on ebay. I guess it is better to find out now then after I install everything!

I am running autolight ar-94's with no problems and they are like $1.50 each at autozone or advance. Copper is teh way to go.

00s281sc368...I did some searching and found out that Monarch Products is actually sparkplugs.com (same phone number). I just bought the Denso U-grooves from them for 2.24 each.
