Okay, I bought my brother's old radar detector, and I want to hardwire it into the car instead of using one of my plugs. I want it to be a key hot lead, so it's only on when the key is on (engine running). I figured the fusebox would be the easiest way, so which fuse should I splice this into?

I can't remember which one I wired my radar detector to, but just take a test light and find one that has power only when the key is on.

Also, you can look in the instruction book that came with the car for a layout of the fuses and what each one is for.

I lost my owner's manual. I found a key hot fuse, and wired it to their, but now when I start my car, the air bag light flashes 4 times or so, and then goes off. Then flashes 4 times then goes off. WTF?? I pulled several fuses to see which ones were key-hot and constant hot before I found one. I put them back where they went or so I thought. Why the **** is the air bag light flashing?
