keyless entry on 99+ cars??

do all 99+ mustangs have keyless entry on them, or do i have to get it installed from teh factory?? v-6 too or just v-8's?? what would I need to put keyless entry on a used v-6 or v-8 mustang??

Just head to your Ford dealer and get the remotes assuming your car has keyless entry...I'd guess it's gonna be at least 60 bucks

yep. I was also thinking I could maybe get some aftermarket remotes. they are cheaper than fords "factory direct" stuff and the local dealership will probably pull some crap like "we have to install it, u can't do it your self"

If you do not already have a remote programmed to your car then I am pretty sure you would have to have a new one programmed at the dealership.

All 99+ V8's have them as far as i know

how do i tell if a v-6 has it? Is there a way I can tell just by looking at it? I don't want to buy a car if it doesn't have to equipment on it.

Just buy a remote off ebay its easy to program. i have to do it all the time at work. all you do is turn the key from the on to off position 6-8 times and when the door locks function press any button on the remote and its programed. you can also do the on off process to see if the car has the module installed already. but im almost certain its equiped with it, you just never were given remotes when you bought it.
