keyless ignition

I have the keyless system on my 2013 ST and I love it, the car automatically unlocks when I touch the door handle as long as I have the key fob on my person and the car starts with no issue. There is no actual keyhole in the column, the spot is covered. I've thought about putting a keyless system into my 93 but I'd rather spend the money on something else for the car that I'll get more use out of.

Am I the only one in this thread who actually likes the feeling of turning a key in the column and hearing the engine fire up? Granted, I drive older cars now, but it's all part of the experience for me. Call me old fashioned...

I like keyless entry to save the paint, but the key on the column IS the new way. Dad's '53 had the start button on the dash. So did a lot of tractors. I do not see the point, unless you want to get you car hacked.

Oops, the zombie thread is almost as old as a start button on the dash idea is!
