Kick Panels

I don't know if this actually qualifies as "tech" or not but it's worth a try. I just ordered a kick panel clip kit for my 89 gt. Everything it comes with I know where it goes except for the 2 screws. When I took the old ones off, I didn't remove any screws. The only place I can think they go is on the scuff plates but I'm not sure. Anyone have any ideas?

got a pic? i dont recall any screws on mine. seems to me the leg that goes to the door sill covers just slides under (it is not screwed down). i could be wrong though.

I don't have screw holes on the kick panels and they do slide under the sills. I got the kit from 50resto. I've been looking and it fits on without the screws, so I may just leave the screws.

that would be what i do as well. that one big plastic plug dealie holds them pretty well, IIRC.

Do the screws match the ones holding the sill on. Maybe thats were they go.
