Kick Panels...

I currently have some old, cracked kick panels that I would like tpo replace. I would also like to replace them with ones that have pre-cuts for speakers. I seen a few places that sell them but they dont mention what size speaker fits. does anyone have these kick panels and if so, what size speaker do you have in it? THANKS...

Have you tried calling these places and asking them? I'd imagine they'd be a good source for this type of info.

Well its a forum so he asked us members a question. I have some but keep in mind if you have 6x9's in the rear deck you wont be hearing these unless you have a 4 channel amp. I cant remember where mine came though.

www.kanterperformance.com is where I got mine. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are not angled up towards the passengers. This may or may not be a nit-picky thing though.

I got mine off ebay, worked great. Not angled though, but I've never seen any that are in a classic.

the panles your going to buy are thin ABS and hold a SHALLOW mount 6 1/2". i have them and dont care for them.

I'll do you a favor and make some fiberglass angled ones for you and include some Pioneer speakers for about $175 bucks(+ shipping) and wrap them in vynil too. Just send me some new good repro panles.

i got those panels in my car as well. i had a HARD time finding a speaker that was thin enough to not hit the outer wall. after everything said and done, cant hear the suckers. i have the stock style 2 speaker setup in the center of the dash, two 6 1/2s in the kick panels, two 6x9s in the rear deck, and....and 8 inch sub. lol to me, it was a waste of time and money.

The man that runs my store had his own car audio store years ago and told me I needed a 4 channel amp to allow for adjustments front to back but I did alot of work on the hiding all of my amps under the package tray and dont want to tear back into that for now.
