Kicker kx600.1 and what sub

Call me lame, but this year I am buying my own christmas gift and its a nother system for the stang.. I since took my old system out and put it in the daily driver, so I am gonna go sick with the mustang. I had a premeir 240 watt rms amp pushing 1 mtx blue thunder extreme, it was pretty loud. I am about to order the kicker 600.1 amp, and either a kicker l7 10, or a l5 12.. they both handle 600 watts and are both dvc units, so the amp is gonna be pushing them to there limits. anyone out there have a l7's in a fox hatchback.. just trying to see what i am in for.. hehe

L5 or L7. I have L7s and they are great. You'll love em with a properly designed box.

yea, i actually am going ahead and getting the 12 inch l5. I am looking foward to it. everyone i have talked to has nothing but good to say about the amp as well as the speakers, i guess i will see.. thanks.

Whatever you do, make sure it's in a properly designed enclosure.

Actually, L7's work exquisitely in an Infinite Baffle setup. It would save you some space, but you'd need VERY good door speakers as it will murder the upper extension of the L7, but the lowend would be brutal.
