Mtx 801d or Kicker KX600.1?????

I'm stuck here guys. i have a 12" kicker L7 and i know its rated at 750 rms and everything but in your opinions, which amp is better for it? The mtx SAYS it puts out 800 watts rms at 2 ohms but thats at 14.4 volts. While the kicker puts out 600 rms at 13.8.......i dunno what to do. is a kicker amp better for a kicker sub? Which will make my sub have the best spl it can and the best quality too? Both are class d.

Try a New Rockford T1001bd on for size -- 1400 watts RMS for $699 . . . no better amp currently on the planet at this price.

down side is that the rockford is rated at that power at 1 ohm. the amp is sweet as hell though. my suggestion is to get a 1000 watt mono, at 2 ohm of course, and make sure you have a replacement warranty of some sort. i am running a rockford power t1 15, 600 watt rms, and dumpinr a rockford power 1000bd on it, 1138 watts rms. i love 5 year replacements.

I vote for the kicker, your car battery doesnt always put out 14.4 volts. I have underdrive pullies, and when my car is idle at a stop light and I have my lights, air conditioning and system on, my amps only get about 12 volts ( I have a voltmeter mounted below my head unit). So I would for sure vote kicker on this one.

i'm gonna look into the rockford, only reason i was going kicker is so it would match the sub..........but does that really matter? my wiring is rockford so why not my amp too right? maybe one day i'll step up to the rockford 15" t1 cuz that thing looks bad.
