Hi everyone, I'm the type of person who's pretty paranoid about my cars. I normally install a few "kill switches" hidden anywhere in the cabin. I know there are threads about this but they're all scattered... :D

Kill switches would more than likely dampen some dumb kids need for a "test drive"... I believe that's the only kind of theft we can have at this point (unless there are valuables inside). You can't really prevent theft but you can slow down the process enough to make the would-be robber anxious and quit.

I'd like to exchange ideas on what you've done, we don't need to showcase where we hide our switches but what wires we spliced would be handy...

I like the fuel cutoff switch, usually tap into the wires leading to the pump behind the 1/4 panels... switch in a secret location :D Thieve would have to splice into the light harness and add power to the pump from there, car can go somewhere before the pump fries the circuit (I believe this is the only way to detour the anti-theft device).

I want to add another switch that would kill power to the coil or something that would prevent spark? Power to the coil is kind too easy to bypass with the battery right there... I'm thinking about something related to the computer?

Thanks
