if you are an MMA or Kimbo fan, he's fighting tonight on CBS. Kimbo was supposed to fight Shamrock, but Shamrock got a cut above his eye before the mach and was medically disqualified.

happened while he was practicing. i have no doubt that it was truly an accident. he's all fired up over Kimbo turning his back on him.

I think it's a total F'in set up. Either someone didn't have faith in Kimbo winning or Shamrock didn't want to loose against a "nobody" like Kimbo. Shamrock is washed up after this one...you'll see Tyson in MMA before you see Shamrock back in.

Here is my take on it.

The cut thing was planned the entire time. And the fight will be aired on a $50 PPV only channel in about a month.

nah, CBS wants the fight bad. this was going o legitimize their MMA. Shamrock already says he wants another fight set up.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I don't really care. I like Kimbo, i think he's got a lot of heart and a lot of talent. I've seen a lot of his back yard fights and he's good at what he does, but he's too old to really go anywhere in MMA, he's too old to master any ground techniques well enough to stand up against the big guns in MMA and get a title. Shamrock on the other hand, he was one of my favorite fighters back in the day but i think his time is past. He would be a good match against Kimbo just because he's old and Kimbo isn't as experienced in MMA, but i still think Kimbo could take him especially on his feet.

How do you gauge Kimbo having talent, he beat some blak crack heads up in a back yard. Remember what Shawn Gannon did to him and he isnt even good.

Well i'm not saying he's Mike Tyson in his prime, but the man has a good stand up. It's his lack in MMA technique that's going to hold him back.

I just watched the Arlovski fight, that fat guy did pretty damn good on the ground but his lack of stamina cost him the fight.
