i'm planning on getting a new clutch soon and i've been trying to decide between getting the stock clutch or the king cobra clutch. could anyone help me understand what would be beneficial by going with the "king cobra clutch"?

any advice would be appreciated! thanks!

Depends on your power level....isn't worth a damn if your making big number power. But if your debating between stock and king cobra, I'd with the king cobra clutch. It won't be overkill (it's a "sprung" clutch so it isn't anything crazy) and it leaves room for future mods

thanks everyone for your feedback! it was very helpful. i don't have any mods on my car...straight stock. just wanting to add a little more performance to my car little by little. if there's anything else you guys think i can do that's not too expensive that's worth adding let me know.

thanks again! really appreciate it!

Buy a new flywheel why you got it apart. My preference is Ford Racing.
Might want to put a steel bearing retainer on the trans while it's out too.

I'm happy with mine, but I'd pass. For like $10 more you can have a Centerforce Dual Friction with a nice soft pedal and a higher power holding capacity. The King Cobra isn't as cheap as it used to be.
