kn&n air filter recharger kit on green air filter

Is the green filter meant to run wet, or dry? Meaning, does it ruquire oiling to filter properly, or is it designed to filter without?

They are washable, here is a link to their oil kits. http://www.greenfilterusa.com/greenoil.asp It was red colored when I got it, ref. the poster right above me. I dont think that means much, though they sell them in a bunch of different colors. But I think they are alot like k&n but they are asupposed to be better. I cant remember why. I got mine as part of demolet CAI> I will write him and ask too. I dont bother asking the green air guys afraid they will tsay of course not buy our oil since there is no money in my buying k&n

I just got off the phone with mr Demolet and he said the reason he changed to green filters was for the lifetime warranty as oposed to k&n (he used to be with k&n) and that they ran a little better on the dyno and also he said the mesh was different I forgot if it was tighter or looser but I assume it was the more efficient. I need to research green I guess I havent had time lately hence my one or two posts in the last six months.

any Mr Demolet said that out of the thousands of green filters with his CAI he sold he's had no returns, and that K&N oil could be used in place of the green oil
